Apply for the 1834 Fellowship

1834 Fellowship applications are open until January 31, 2023. Before beginning your application, have your resume, one-page cover letter and two references ready in PDF format. Reference letters should include the referee’s full name, job title, relationship to applicant, email and phone number. A referee may be an academic reference, employer or community member.

Availability Requirements

Applicants must be available to attend a virtual interview in February. Fellows must be available to participate in Fellowship events, including full-day weekend policy tasters and the launch of their cohort. Applicants should also be able to travel to Ottawa or Toronto (if travel is permitted) for weekend policy program. (Travel and accommodations provided).
