Drawing on his 17+ years with the Toronto Police Service, where as a decorated senior constable, Bobby has been involved in a multiplicity of municipal, provincial, federal, and international investigations.
He was a research and stakeholder adviser on issues of diverse community integration, stigma and discrimination for the Toronto Police Service. He has been engaged in diversity and social justice issues in both an academic and workplace setting and actively involved in creating and facilitating programs and services, and conducting workshops with and for marginalized communities through the Greater Toronto Area.
Bobby’s business and investor relationship skills at a then leading boutique investment company, Yorkton Securities, found him responsible for an area of compliance within the retail trading unit. He was instrumental in various capital financings with early staged companies where he played a crucial role in addressing the opportunities that lead these companies to securing their position within the Canadian capital markets.
In addition, his 10+ years experience in the international marketplace where he’s focused on business development, marketing and communications, Bobby has enhanced his client’s ability in growth and retention, e-communications, and multi-media marketing.
Bobby has a long history of volunteer involvement with organizations such as the Big Brothers of Toronto, the United Way, and the Diverse Citi Athletic Foundation and peer mentorship project that are partially funded by the provincial and federal governments.
In 2015, he was assigned by the Provincial government to lead a group of Caribbean Canadian organizations to participate in PANAMANIA – a vibrant hub of arts and cultural celebration during the Pan Am Games held in Toronto.
Bobby continues to be a pivotal leader, developing programming for both youth and adults and has maintained a broad network of educational, business, investment and community leaders.
