Federal & Provincial elections in Canada are usually held every 4 years. Some jurisdictions have passed legislation fixing election dates, therefore, the date of the upcoming election is publicly known.
Municipal Elections
Municipal Elections are held every 4 years in all provinces and territories in Canada with the exception of the Yukon where elections are held every 3 years and cities, towns and villages in the Northwest Territories, which are held every 2, 3 or 4 years.
